Down South MC Productions, along with the Columbus County CBA/ABATE of NC will be hosting a two (2) day motorcycle event/swap meet at the Columbus County Fairgrounds, October 28 & 29, called Dixie Steel Stampede. The event is an opportunity for motorcyclists to camp, fellowship and show off their bikes.

This is also a time for bringing in the community to promote the Special Olympics in our county. Friday of this event will be for the Special Olympics to meet and fellowship with motorcyclist along with their bikes. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to Columbus County Special Olympics.

We are seeking sponsorship donations for Dixie Steel Stampede. This is an opportunity for your company name to be advertised to the public. Sponsorship amounts and advertisement benefits are accomplished on the sponsorship form enclosed with this letter.

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce CBA/ABATE of NC to you. The Concerned Bikers Association/ABATE of NC is a 501 (c4) non-profit organization and per IRS code your donation is not tax deductible. We are strong advocate of safe motorcycle riding, promoting programs such as our "Don't Drink & Ride" campaign and the Motorcycle .Safety and Awareness Program. MSAP is presented by volunteer program instructors to Driver's Education students in local high schools. These new drivers are taught to SHARE the road with motorcycles: .safe Highways equals Awareness Respect and Education. The Columbus County CBA/ABATE of NC also sponsors The Toy Run to serve our community's children during the Christmas season.
